Since reading this thread early this morning I have taken the time to see what it was all about. No question in my mind, the corperate world watch every move their employees make even in their free time. You just try finding out technical info about your newer car, truck, tractor, dish washer, etc. The corperate world believe it is their god given right to have their nickel off of every tid bit of information given out. Yes I can agree if he was doing this on company time and company computers, they do have a beef. However don't any of you think for one minute these corperate excutives can't hone in anyone making public statments, be it in print, online at the corner bar, etc. Don't even think either, that because we are dealing on forums for the most part with 20 plus year old technology they don't take notice. I went the other day for my usual anual purchase at CaseIH; oil filters, points, hy-tran, etc. With the exception of the hy-tran, had I not paid with the bank card, it would have taken a larger container to carry the money in than it did to carry the parts out. Since being a retired play at it farmer, I used to step aside at CaseIH parts counter for the commercial farmer, afterall it is his bread and butter. NOT ANYMORE, WE HOBBY GUYS ARE IMPORTANT TO CASEIH. The anual inflation rate on new parts for old tractors must be running around 50% It used to be said society demanded cheap food, and they used to get it. Today farming is about cheap raw materials for the corperate elite, that being the same corperate elite that produced the tractor or the car or the truck or the bomb for that matter. Society is just like that bull at the county fair being led around by that ring in his nose. While society remain that complacent nothing will change.

Talk of the Town: Winterizing Engines - To Drain or Not to Drain? - by Russ Berry. What is this strange attraction I have to equipment and machinery? How did I get this way? I came from the suburbs and own a small horse farm in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. You can call me a "weekend farmer." The local farmers do. Does it bother me? No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
