Unless the 1456 is in excellent condition I think $7500 is kind of steep. I believe hp is around 138 but it could easily be turned up to 160 to 170. Generally they where (are) good tractors with the typical IH Torque problems. My brother picked one up two years ago in Kansas for $4500 in good condition with good tires and no cab or fenders. Need to remember the newest 56 series tractors are now 30 years old. I watched one sell for $3200 a couple weeks ago in near Junction City, fair tires but rough condition with only 1000 PTO and single hydraulics.
