Two things,I havent had to take off my hood and gas tank to change the plugs,It ws a little awkward,but i did it nonetheless.Number 2 with a little ingenuity you can start one u-p without the hood and gas tank on it.What I did was run a wire form the starter switch on the starter straight to the coil.On the gas side of it I have a small tank rigged up to gravity feed staright into the carb.DOnt take all that much doing.If you dislike your Cub so much maybe you should consider selling it,I dont know maybe to .......me!;0)
