I always admire the naive. You didn't say how many shares you now own in that 19 store pile up. I agree, neither CNH or CaseIH are going to get too excited on someone giving out technical advice on pre 1962 tractors. For the most part they probably forget they exist. Parts for these for the most part have been farmed out to the after market. I have seen evidience that Navistar still has an interest in those old tractors. I have no idea how much. You just try giving out technical information on newer iron, anything with modern hydraulics, 3 point, etc. More to the point you start giving technical advice on line on tractors produced in the past 20 years and you will see how quick the heavy hand of CaseIH will come down on you. I have been involved in farming since the very early 50s. Back in the days of the Farmall H and M you could walk into an IH dealer and a half hour later walk out the amswer to most any problem on a tractor. Same was true of cars, trucks, other farm eq, etc. Over the years I have seen a steady decline in that free flow of information. 50 years later you want outragious prices and think you should be involved in a service call to pump the tires. The auto and truck sector are worse. The gauling part is most dealers of anything auto motive today, do not have the ability to spec out and price a unit. All they know how is tell you price of units on lot. Don't get me going on that one, as it would take 10 pages to tell you what I know. Just a test on all of this, I know of a CaseIH 7220, 3 point will not raise. What are the possible problems.

Talk of the Town: Winterizing Engines - To Drain or Not to Drain? - by Russ Berry. What is this strange attraction I have to equipment and machinery? How did I get this way? I came from the suburbs and own a small horse farm in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. You can call me a "weekend farmer." The local farmers do. Does it bother me? No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
