Jarret: Been there and done that, I think you have the clutch disc in backwards. I once had some friends show up, just as was at point of separating tractor at clutch housing. Rolled it apart, unbolted old presure plate, laid old clutch disc on blocking holding up rear section of tractor, so I would remember which way it when in. I went out to my pickup to get new parts, when I returned one of my buddies had clutch disc in hand. He was I must admit a retired agricultural engineer, traimed in the 50s and tractor was Farmall 130. To make long story short 1.5 hours and tractor was back together. Clutch adjustment on my tractor that afternoon was exactly as you describe. Later that day I split tractor again just to turn the clutch disc over. I had probably changed 10 Farmall clutches prior to that in lifetime with no problems. There is something to be said for taking time to look things over a bit when doing these jobs,
