I have to agree with Randy on this one, very likely rust, etc. got moved around in engine, from jolts when front end broke. On the presurized cap issue, some of the late model Super A did have presurized system. My Super A has a presure type cap and works fine. I know the cooling system is original. I have seen several others with presurized cap. Always 53 and 54 models without water pumps. It does work. I have never gone into the details on why some tractors had the presure cap. It has been suggested to me dealers put the presure caps on as customers were having problems. Problems or not my tractor has been working just fine for a lot of years, and I might add a lot of that work was using all the rated horse power.
