Jimbob: How large is this tractor? I have a 1975 buyers guide, no models in that one brginning with digit 2. The next one I have is 1983 guide. In that one they show a 254 and 284. Quite clearly I have a few years missing, however I believe most of the model changes occured in 1979. The last tractors I am aware of with those digits and still only close was the B-250 in mid 1950s. This tractor could been one of a number of tractors built either in Britain, France or Germany and never marketed in North America. There are a few tractors around like that, came here with imigrants when they made the move. I guess the other senario not to be overlooked is maybe you are not in North America. If it is indeed a European tractor, post it that way, there are guys on here who will know.
