Has anyone come up with a solution for this problem? I have the same problem and I am replacing the coil, condenser and points soon but would like to know what to look for if this does not work. I have replaced wires and plugs and checked the connection of the pos. and grd on batt. New battery also. Gas cap is original and loose fitting. Any solutions? This sounds like a common problem with these tractors!
