something I did a while back was to put a clear inline fuel filter in the line. I know right off if it is a fuel starving problem because the filter is empty. sometimes you do just have to remove the tank and clean it real good. The fuel seperator bowls are pretty prone to clogging up in the valve part of it if a lot of trash is going through. I just put on an aftermarket bowl and now I got a leaking by problem. My float and needle and seat are new but it still leaves a very small puddle of gas on the ground over a few days. I am about to pull out the bowl plug and put in a petcock valve with a piece of copper tube down to about the bottom of the oil pan. then when I store it I can open the valve and put a coffee can under it. I hate gas on the floor.
