What fluid to use in an M rearend?

I am going to change the fluid in the rearend of my M, since it has sat for 15 years. And I really don't remember when it was ever changed. I have heard some people put Hy Tran in, but others say to only put 85W in. What does everyone recommend? Temps don't get below 0 very often and I will probably not be using it then.
