Hank, Your light switch and steering wheel are both correct for a `40 H. The `39`s and `40`s for sure had straight spokes.The early ones had the spokes covered with rubber up to and including the center hub.I don`t know when they changed to straight, but uncovered spokes. After they made them for a while that way, they then changed to the familiar curved spokes. The light switch lever is an oddity from what I can tell. They are pictured in the H parts book, but you don`t see them around at all. I found a NOS one for my `39 H at the the local IH dealer that went out of business in 1969. I had never seen one in person before that. Mark
