There is a guy around here who custom pumps manure using a drag line system and he usually runs a 5488 on a pump but has also used a 1566. I know the 5488 is running over 280hp and the 1566 has an inline pump on it so I'm sure it's running plenty hot too. Even in the 54 they have had to work on the pto several times but that is alot of power and it runs wide open for many hours at a time. You should be able to buy a 1566 pretty cheap but if you will be roading it very far a 1466 will be 4-6 mph faster on the road.
