I did pull the rod cap shortly after taking the video. The Rod bearing is worn but it doesn't look bad, just probably a lot smaller than it should be. It also looks like they may have not been installed properly. The little keyways that are supposed to prevent you from installing them backwards are all but gone. It was clear that someone was in this motor. Some washers were missing from the oil pain bolts. The bearings still show the serial number, IH part number and are marked as 'Standard'. Believe it or not the crank looks good. It's still smooth, no gouges or scrape marks. I don't have a 2-3 Micrometer yet so I haven't mic'ed it. I'll order the bearings today and should be able to put it back together this weekend. Thanks for all your help especially you RED, I owe you at least a six pack. Next time I'm in Indy I'll make it a point to stop by.
