I attach the tie downs to the front bolster. On my C, I have 3/4 inch eye bolts in the threaded holes in the front bolster. These holes are implement mounting holes. I also use these holes to tie down my MD. I think this is more secure than using the front wheels. I've also seen hooks attached to the frame rails and I think that would work well.
