I am fortunate as I live on a dead end road. a group of 15 ATV riders drove through the first year. The Mrs. chased them up the road she didn't catch them but the last rider saw her. They have not been back since. I have heard of posting shooting range signs and doing a little target practice when your tresspassers are around. Don't know if I would try it though. I had a car load of delinquents call the police on me for stopping them. They reported a crazy man with a gun. I had to talk my way out of that one as the Police were unsympathetic. I was truely in the wrong they were on a public right of way, but if I had not been there at the time the kids would have had their party at "the Hauted house". Burning the house didn't stop them, then they wanted to look into the pit at 1:00 A.M. One even had the nerve to ask/tell me that it was illegal to burn the house (the fire Dept. did it for me). My response was "tresspassing is illegal too." best of luck. The more they see of your scouling face the less they will come around. oh BTW binoculars are intimidating nobody likes to be watched. I hate being a hardbutt, but taxes aren't cheap and it seems as how the offenders always live in town or on an acre. I never refuse anyone who will stop and ask.

It was on one such Saturday in the early 1940's when Sam was 16 years old that he ended up in Dennison, Kansas to watch a demonstration of a new tractor being put on by a local dealer. It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
