Brandon, Since it's a Delco, let's ASSUME it's an SI setup to be wired in 2/3 fashion, and that this diagram will get you going. If know it's a Delco SI jumpered for 1 wire use, just hook into the battery from the BAT terminal on the alt. If you don't have an indicator light, use a 10 ohm 10 watt resistor between the number 1 terminal on the alternator and an ignition source to properly excite the alternator. You may see the alternator not start charging until you reach higher revs. An easy way to fix this is with a smaller pulley. Note that you will not need your regulator in this setup as the Delco is internally regulated. As I said, I'm assuming you have a Delco SI...double check that. Also please check BobM's diagrams for the complete wiring setup for the load accessories, etc.
