We live near a major highway and people like to hunt the property for pheasant. Most people will ask to hunt the property which is generally okay as long as the cattle aren't in the field. Some guys thought they would hunt our property while we were gone. One of my lifelong friends was driving by (he also is a state trooper) when he saw these guys with out of county plates hunting. He knew something wasn't right, so he he approached them. They said that they had permission from the owner, my buddy knew better. Turns out one of the three had a warrant so he got a free stay in the county jail. The others left after he issued the driver a ticket for having out of date tags.
