Help! I was mowing with a 6' finish mower for 30 minutes or so and coming down a hill when the engine died. I eventually got it restarted with the choke out and got it back to the shed. Tractor had plenty of gas in the tank. I checked fuel flow to the carb, the fuel screen in the carb inlet, the fuel line filter and all were ok. Oil pressure, amp and temp were normal I pulled the plugs and they were wet. I changed the plugs, filled the tank with fresh gas, drained the carb, checked the points and restarted the tractor with full choke, eventually closed the choke. I grounded each plug to make sure that they were all firing and drove the tractor around the yard and started down the same hill and it died again. Restarted with full choke, but died every time I pushed the choke in. Got her back to the shed and I am stuck. What would you suggest: carb rebuild, governor, points & condenser... Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.
