The flip side of the deal is that if you do get a nice, new Fluke meter and happen to leave it out in the barn one cold winter night, you may find its LCD has frozen and is "bleeding". Sometimes it's better to have those 10 buck Chinese kick around types and just know their limitations. Keep the Flukes, Simpson analogs, etc. inside and safe.
