Robert: The values vary greatly to location and the people involved.. The condition of that diesel engine can make a big differance as its an expensive one for parts.. $400 just for bearings I guess? ..but with that said I would only take a second to start writing a check (bigone) if it was our first MD which was the sixth one built. I would really pay for that one. Normal prices will be in the $1k to $3k range. I saw a SMD in good restored shape sell for $2800 last June and a SM-ta in need of some tin and paint for $2300 and a gas 1942 M with mower go for $600.. So again and again it varies..May be better to serious determine parts cost befor to temper buying price. Its a hobby? Buy it. good luck. harvey
