Sorry to hear about your problem. I have land and have encountered unwanted guests too. You are off to the right start with your signs. Be careful however using "traps." Even though you own the land and have the right to do whatever you want, if someone gets hurt because of a "trap," you might be liable. I know it sounds stupid, but juries and judges are not always reasonable. Work with your sheriff and let him/her know your concerns. You might have results if you start documenting the destruction. Chewed up river banks and torn up fields qualify as destruction of property. Take a picture of the anyone you find or better yet a video. It is tough to dispute a picture or video.
