I went through something like that on a 1929 10-20. found out there were 3 different types of filters used and several bolts of different types. some filter bases had adapters, and a whole slew of problems like that. I fixed mine by looking at a bunch of filter housings/bolts/bases at swapmeets and at tractor bone yards and getting a combo that worked. Hopefuly one of the cub guys will know what to do.
