The price sounds pretty good. Is it gear drive or Hydro? According to Nebraska, the 656 gas gear drive burns 5.2 gallons per hour under full load, and the Hydro gas burns 6.3 gallons per hour. The Hydro transmission isn't as reliable as the gear drive, but it is really what you should have if you plan to do tons of loader work. 656 is one of the best IH's there is, you will really enjoy the big tractor power with the handling of a small tractor.
