i have a 350 diesel there is a little cover on the lower side of injector pump with two little srews that hold it on remove that little cover be carefull the srews will stip easy, the manual show the timing mark on the top left side of the front pulley but acctually it is on the top right side when you go to time it turn the motor over with hand crank or large socket on the front of pulley the first timing mark is pump timing mark secound is top dead center, just make sure your on number one commpession stroke then line up pointer with first mark then check lines in the pump. one thing after you think you have it spin motor over with the starter a few times then recheck any question email me or post message good luck Dan
