Farmall M wide front end

Can any one tell me how to find info on how to assemble a international wide front end for a Farmall M.I have a shop manual that gives me a exploded view of it but I need info on the adapter plate.I have a front end all but the adapter plate,It all fits togather with out it.But I would like to know if this is going to weaken the front or not?I f I could get pics and or measurements I could make one.Thanks John
