Mine had that problem as well. Turned out that 2 of the six studs holding the steering box in place had busted, and the nut on another had been overtightened and stripped. I replaced all the studs, put in a new gasket and it doesn't leak there anymore. Removing the steering gearbox is kind of a chore, especially if your steering wheel is rusted onto the shaft.
