Greg: It could be by passing within the actual lift cylinder. I have also seen them do this if the lever is a bit out of adjustment. Just try not taking lever right to limit. If this corrects it, adjust yoke on rod comming to lever to compensate. If it is an internal leak, probably you aren't far away from a hydraulic repair kit. The main concern is when you get an external leak, not only is it messey, but that resovoir is not large and you can soon empty system. Watch that one closely, that little pump will not stand being dry very long.
