Dan, I'd be willing to bet ya a pepsi that you can fix that problem for the cost of an oil pan gasket. Just that myself on my 140. If you drain the oil, drop the pan, remove the oil pump, you will probably find that the gasket seperating the bottom plate from the pump body has blown at some point. They blow because they are not machined flat on the mating surface. Clean it up, take some 100 grit sandpaper and a flat surface and sand the humps off the plate. Make you a gasket to fit the oil pump plate out of thin pasteboard and blue gasket sealer and slap that sucker back together, remembering to fill the pump gears with grease to help prime it back up quickly.
