IH made about twenty models of ensilage cutters/blowers from 1912 to 1955. Since the model number was painted it is probably faded off long ago. McCormick used a "type" letter to indicate the model. From what I can determine the letter series was from "A" through "G" with a number series following. The number series varied but was usually indicated by a combination, i.e. 10-E, 12-C, 12-A, 12-E, etc. If you can get up to Burton, TX on Saturday (May 3)for the Burton Cotton Gin Festival you might be able to ask one of the old timers about your cutter.
