Some say that water gets in around the recessed bolts that hold the cover on, since it stands in the holes when it rains. I'm not sure about that. The bolt holes are do not go all the way through to the transmission. The water would have to flow to the gasket and leak through it -- suppose that's possible. I would pull one bolt out at a time and seal the threads with silicon or perhaps teflon tape or pipe sealant. Others say it's condensation. No way to fix that except to change the fluid once a year, think the manual says to do that anyway, few people, including me, do. I have a Super H that must have sat a long time without running. Bull gears have rust pits on the part of the gears that would have been in water.
