Mike - I doubt diesel will hurt the tranny seals - especially if the seals are exposed for only a few hours. However I'd recommend refilling the tranny with fresh gear oil as soon as it is finished draining - any traces of diesel still left on the seals will be immediately absorbed in the gear oil. And the fresh oil fill will help keep the seals from drying out…
