Dennis: In 1994 I was at CaseIH dealer needing one of these springs. I like to keep a spare or two of items like this, oil filters, points, rotor, etc. I said to the parts guy give me two of those springs. Not looking at the slip until the cashier said $76. for the two springs and a few other items, I marched back to the parts guy and told him to take them and do you know what. He said,"where else can you buy a spring for that amount of money that will do the job and last 40 years." I laughed and paid for my other items and left. In close to ten years I have never found a replacment that works, and I bet I have spent $50. on springs. You know something else, the tractor is now 50 years old and the original spring is still on the other pedal. Last week I ordered another spring at CaseIH. Some things just work.
