I have the opportunity to buy a Farmall 140 in pretty fair shape with a front grader blade for less than $1800. The serial number is 62472 and I can't seem to find a match in the serial number section to the left on this site. The tractor is located in E. Tennessee. It doesn't smoke on start up or after running for about five minutes. The steering is pretty tight and I ran it thru all four gears and there is no noise in any gear. The right brake pedal is all the way down and doesn't want to come back up, but the brake isn't dragging. The left brake seems normal. The hydraulics seem to work smoothly, except for a slight hitch in letting down the front blade (air in lines?). The sheet metal is fair (no emblems at all) and it needs paint everywhere (existing paint has turned pink). What do y'all think?
