My father and uncle used a mounted picker to do custom picking on their M's alternate years and my father did custom hay baling with his M. Wore out 1 - 76 NH and 2 - 77 NH balers custom baling behind his M plus plowing and discing with his M. He broke an axle bearing and had a ball pass between a bull gear and the transmission case poking a hole in the case. Welded it shut, replaced the damaged gears and bearings and kept on going. Wish I had his M today. Cannot find it in Eastern Iowa.
