Scotty: Those are pretty good numbers on the compression. On that exhaust pipe start the tractor again and when it get warmed up good put a pipe wrench on the pipe with tractor running. If that doesn't work, shutt the tractor down, cut the pipe off about 1/4 inch above the manifold. Put a tight fitting hose over a hacksaw blade. Leave about 2" exposed on each end. Use electric tape to secure it well. Make 4 cuts on the inside of the exhaust pipe down inside manifold. Cut in until you estimate you are to threads on manifold. Using a series of chisels you can collapse the exhaust pipe working on it at those cuts. You may make good money doing this. You may be calling me some quite nasty four letter words. I am willing to take that chance. I can't see it so possibly the manifold itself is not worth the effort. I was thinking just the pipe bad. How is your radiator? I had to recore the rad in 140 this week. I have had one of these tractors for 45 years, 6 of them in all, and this is the first time for rad work for me. On the law of average it isn't bad. For we scots it still hurts.
