The 400's and some early 450's used the 4 spoke steering wheel, which uses the 3/4" shaft & half moon key. The 3 spoke steering wheels fit a splined shaft. There was a tach available for the diesel. The Fast Hitch for the 400 was specific for the 300/400 and should be available from salvage yards. You can get rebuilt sprague type TA's from the Steel Wheel Ranch or heavy duty ramps & rollers from several sources, including e-Bay. Red Power magazine is a good source for salvage yards, NOS parts, and reproduction parts. Power steering units show up on e-Bay and salvage yards. Check out a couple of places to determine if your getting a fair price.
