We ran fluids in the tires when I was on the farm. Never had any problems. If you think weight is all you need, why not just add wheel weights and maybe weld up a bracket and add a few suitcase weights near the back of the tractor? As for going to 15.5 tires, they should be on a slightly wider rim, but I doubt it will hurt anything if you use the standard rims. You will still need extra weight with larger tires. If you decide to go with wider rims, just move all the way up to 16.9 tires - that's what I did, but I use the tractor for pulling duty.
