IH Running Gear

I have a great uncle that claims he has an old IH running gear, I can find no markings on it to indicate any particular brand. It does have a pivoting front axle and is very good shape.
Does anyone know of pics I can check out or some sort of design or other feature that would help me identify it? I guess I do believe him, but would like more info as to when they were made, colors, etc. He is 84 and wants me to restore it for him.
