The serial number you posted indicates that it is a 1935. A 1935 F-20 should of been battleship gray in color from factory and would of had a flat fan belt instead of a v-belt. You could also back it up by looking at the letter in the casting coded numbers. I am not sure myself wich letter indicates what year. You may also try to find a serial number on left frame rail and right side of engine. These serial numbers may be the same as the serial number on serial number plate. These serial numbers may also be used as a referance to identify year. All three numbers are the same on my 36 F-20. A 1939 F-20 was red in color from factory and had a V-belt instead of a flat belt for the fan. Check it out. It may be that you have a 1935. One senerio may also be that you have a 1939, that has a tool box (equiped with a serial number plate) that was removed from a 1935 and put on your 1939.
