Serial number prefix for a Super H is SH, for an H it is FBH. If it is missing, the Super H has disk brakes, although they were an option for the regular H, or a conversion. Super H has a larger carb and the choke rod connects to the choke actuator on the inside next to the block rather than the outside of the carb. The front bolster has a slot on both sides. The grille says IH rather than Farmall (that is easy to fake). The block should have C 164 in raised letters on the right rear of the block. In addition the Stage 2 has the hydraulic pump behind the distributer, a cast resevoir under the gas tank, and the battery under the seat. Super H has the smaller sealed beam lights, also easy to change. The voltage regulator is on the steering post, and so on.
