I think all IH/Farmall owners such as myself would cheer if Case-IH would drop the Case and call everything International. This has been mentioned many times on the Red Power Forum, but it is not likely to happen. One mistake they are making, and I am sure they are aware of it is that Farmalls were row crop tractors, without exception. The new compacts are utility tractors. Case-IH wants to increase their market share, and I hope they do. As far as name recognition, they aren't going to drop the Case name, and McCormick was already taken, thus "Farmall". I hope Case-IH is successful, but it seems to be a weak effort.
