Musick As Sammy stated, the engine serial number is close to the same as the tractor serial number. You can also get close by checking several of your casting codes. 1953 is Y, 1954 is Z, and 1955 ia A. It would not be unusual to have 53 casting codes on a 54 tractor, especially early in a model year. Harold H
