Theres this guy on our road that farms exclusivly with old iron.He had two M Farmalls,an H a couple of Cs,various old plows of different types and an old 141 International Combine. He was having some trouble with the oil bath air cleaner of some type, dont recall his specific problem but I think it had gotten really crudded up in the screening.I do recall him cutting the screening out and getting a few central heating/air filters and pulling the blue stuff off and stuffing it in the housing. It was easy to change and cheap too.I think he did still puit oil in the cup,but that was several yrs back and I dont recall if he did for sure or not. Iworked for him some to help ouit,he was getting on up in yrs.Sure hated to see all that land turned into a housing development and his iron basically got sold for scrap.Wish I had known then what I know now,Id bought some of it!
