Hugh's right, Scotty. If it doesn't feel good (or at least right) don't chance it. With an A you can go around the bottom clockwise more safely than counterso (that's the advantage of the long right axle and why so many As, SAs and IAs were sold with sickle bars for mowing ditches, besides keeping the left side of the hind end further off the road), but if, even with that advantage, you've got enough angle downhill on your right side to make you pucker and the bottom of your feet to sweat, you may be pushing it. You don't say how wide that scary part is, but you might want to consider backing into it, swath by swath, and coming back up the hill to where the grade eases. PITN, but it keeps you and your tractor in one piece.
