You wouldn't think the magnets would have gone bad all at once. Probably points or condenser. The coil should measure 12K ohms or so on the secondary, they will go down in resistance as the turns start to short together. Like they said, disconnect the ground terminal and try it that way before you spend any more time elsewhere. Brian
