we had a 560 diesel and the problem we had was the glow plugs didn't work very well, by the time you glow pluged it, the battery did not have enough power to turn the engine over expecially in cold weather, i am sure that some of this was from loss of compression. I still have a gas 560 and it has over 6000 hours on it and is still running strong we did finally overhauled it a couple years ago and plan on putting another 6000 on it!
