MJD, The Continental diesel engine in the 350 diesel was manufactured by Continental Motors Corporation of Muskegon, Michigan. It was the first non IHC manufactured engine used in an IHC farm tractor since the early Farmall F-12 which had a Wakashau engine in it. The Farmall 450 diesel engine was made by IHC. The 350 diesel is much more rare than the 350 LPG. In our area, Mississippi Delta, LPG was the fuel of choice for tractors during the time the 350 was a current model and outsold it many times over. The 350 LPG and the 300 LPG had the same engine and transmission. However the compression ratio was increased in the 350 series which made it produce about 5 more horsepower than the 300. Farmall 300 LPG; 35.48 db hp, 38.42 belt hp test 573. Farmall 350 LPG; 38.30 db hp, 41.53 belt hp test 622. International 300 LPG Utility; 38.32 db hp, 42.68 belt hp test 574. International 350 LPG Utility; 41.55 db hp, 45.24 belt hp test 619. The 350 was made only in 57 and 58. If ya'll bought yours new in 59, it was a carry over. Hope I have answered all of your questions. Harold H
