IHC Champion Spark Plugs

While my son was cleaning the shop today, he found two spark plugs with the champion name and the IHC logo both printed on the porcelain. We started wondering if the Champion brand spark plugs had their beginning with the Champion Machine Company that International Harvester absorbed into the company in the big merger.
