Removing Flywheel from F-30

How do u take out the tapered pin, and lockwasher from in front of the flywheel. The machanic wondered what kinda shape the crank would be in. Whaddia think?? I only used it to pull / plow disc, pull a few trees in winter, and other odd jovs on 20 acres. Plowed/disced around 12 per year. Only heard it knock for a year or so? Do u think ive messed up the crank? Thanks. Bill
