Don't know if it will help, but will share my experience with you. I priced a temperature gage at the local Case/IH dealer one day and they come up with a price around $70. I also thought that was a little steep so decided not to buy it. Went back to the same dealer a couple of months later to buy some other item. This was a different person waiting on me, so I asked if he could tell me if they had a temp gage in stock and if so, what was the price on in. This time, it was about $36. I bought it. It is the correct gage for my O4, which is the same as many other IH tractors of that vintage. Don't know why the difference in price, and I didn't ask.
